Your account and organization

Settings open from your avatar in the top left of the sidebar, or from the Settings item in the menu under it. Four sections: Account, Team, Billing and BYOK.

Your account

Settings → Account holds your personal details — the things that are yours rather than your organization’s.

Name

Under Basic information. Used wherever Nylon shows who you are.

Email

Changing your email is a three-step verification, shown as a stepper: Verify current, Verify new, Done. Nylon sends a code to your current address, then to the new one, and only then makes the change. Both inboxes have to be reachable — if you no longer have access to the old address, email support@nylon.dev.

Password

Under Sign in using password. If you signed up with a magic link or with Google and never set one, this is where you add it — the Password tab on the login card then works for you as well. Once a password is set, the same card offers two things instead of the field:

• Reset password — emails a reset link to your address.
• Remove password — turns password sign-in off again. You can add it back at any time.

Theme

The Dark mode toggle is in the avatar menu, not in settings. The preference is yours, not your organization’s.

Your organization

Organization settings hold the name and icon everyone in the team sees.

• Image — upload your own, or keep the default.
• Basic information — the organization name.
• Icon color — the colour of the default icon.

Deleting an organization

There is a Danger zone for it. This is permanent: connections, API keys, webhooks and logs all go with it, and it cannot be undone.

Signing out

Logout is in the avatar menu. It ends your browser session only; API keys keep working, which is the point of them.
