The rate card
The bands are cumulative, the way an income tax band is. Twelve connected accounts is 2 free, 8 at 3 — 3.
The free accounts are a 0.00 rather than disappearing into a balance you cannot see.
Which accounts are the free ones
The two free slots go to your longest-connected accounts. That is not arbitrary — it is the same rule that decides which accounts keep working if billing lapses, so the account marked Free in your billing breakdown is the one that would survive.Seeing your numbers
Settings → Billing shows:- Connected social accounts — the count you are billed on, with a View breakdown for which account falls in which band.
- Next charge — the amount, the date, and the card it will go to.
- Invoices & receipts — issued by Stripe; open, download, or grab a payment receipt.

Adding and removing accounts mid-month
Connecting an account adds it to your subscription; disconnecting removes it and stops billing for it immediately. You do not have to wait for a renewal date, and there is nothing to cancel separately. Stripe shows the amount before you confirm any change. No subscription yet
You can connect up to two accounts and use every part of Nylon — the API, webhooks, logs, the test page — without giving a card. The third connection is what requires billing. If you already have more than two connected and billing is not active, the ones past the allowance are paused rather than disconnected. See Accounts paused for billing.Related
