Start billing
With no subscription, the panel ends with an upgrade button that opens Stripe Checkout. Enter a card there and you come back with billing active — every paused account resumes immediately.Change your payment method
The card on file is shown in the Next charge section with its last four digits and expiry. Next to it, Manage opens the Stripe portal — where you can switch which card is the default and remove old ones — or Add card, if there is none on file yet. With more than one card saved, the button carries the count: Manage (2).Invoices and receipts
The Invoices & receipts section lists Stripe’s invoices directly. Open one, download the PDF, or take a payment receipt. Nothing has to be requested from support.A failed payment
If an invoice has not been paid, the panel says so in red at the top, with the amount outstanding and two buttons: one that settles what is owed, and Update payment method, which opens the portal. Stripe’s own portal only ever settles the subscription’s latest invoice, so after two declines there is nothing left there to click. That is why Nylon adds the first button — it clears everything still owed. Do both, in that order, if the card that failed is also the card on file — otherwise the next invoice fails the same way.Tax details and billing address
Both are set in the Stripe portal, and appear on invoices issued after the change. An invoice already issued cannot be re-dated — add your VAT or tax ID before your first renewal if you need it on every invoice.Cancelling
Cancel from the Stripe portal. Billing continues until the end of the period you have paid for. The panel then shows a Billing ends notice with the date, and tells you exactly what will happen when it arrives — how many of your profiles will be paused, and how many stay free. If everything you have connected fits in the free allowance, it says so, and nothing changes on that date. Nothing is disconnected when billing ends. No credentials are destroyed, and restarting billing restores every paused account immediately, with no re-authorization. If you want an account gone rather than paused, disconnect it — which also stops it being billed straight away.Related
