One API for every social platform

Nylon gives your application a single, consistent API for social accounts. Your users connect their accounts through Nylon, and your backend works against one contract instead of one integration per network. The product has three pillars. Each has a fixed colour and icon throughout these docs, so you always know which one you are reading about.

Publishing

Post to every connected network from one request. Live on 17 networks.

Inbox

Read and reply to conversations through one API. Live on Telegram.

Analytics

Normalised metrics on one schema. In build — not yet available.
Only functionality marked live is callable today. Publishing, profiles, connections, network capabilities, validation, media, webhooks and the inbox all have endpoints — see the API reference. Analytics has none yet.

How it works

1

Connect an account

Add social accounts from the Nylon Connections page. Nylon owns the OAuth app, the refresh cycle and the re-auth prompt.
2

Create an API key

Create a key from the API page and store it in your secret manager.
3

Call the API

Send the key as a bearer token from your backend.

Start building

Quickstart

List your connected accounts and publish your first post.

TypeScript SDK

npm install @nylon-dev/sdk — typed, zero dependencies, retries that cannot double-post.

Authentication

Create, store and send Nylon API keys.

Connections

Connected accounts, supported networks and connection statuses.

Errors

One error taxonomy across every network.

Webhooks

Told when a scheduled post fails or an account needs reconnecting.

MCP server

The same contract as tools an AI agent can call.

@nylon-dev/sdk on npm
